Problems with the powersteering during practice caused a reduced presence in the Friday afternoon training where the team only got a 45 minute run to iron out the last problems. All three drivers got to drive the car and Jan Magnussen managed the best time that was a mere 7/10th behind the fastest GT car.
"There is still a couple issues we have to address before tomorrow" Jan Magnussen stated late Friday afternoon."The powersteering isn't perfect and there are a couple of issues that needs changing so the that car won't understeer as much as it is doing now. This afternoon we practiced driverchanges and by doing a couple of changes we have made these 10 seconds faster." Driverrotation has been decided so that Robin Liddell will start the race followed by Andrew Davis and then Jan Magnussen. Magnussen will, if there hasn't been a lot of yellow flags get into the car before it gets dark, where it will be the longest night in motorsport at around 13 hours and a possibilty of rain. The weather forecast isn't too promising where rain and possibly thunderstorms are expected on Saturday.
